Don’t waste that full moon !!! There are many ways to harness the power of the full moon and quite often many people catch it spontaneously, during the actual event itself. It is during these times a person isn’t quite prepared, yet it buzzing with energy that will only be available in totality…

Neith is the most ancient of Egyptian Goddesses. She rules over war and weaponry, weaving, and is seen as the creator of both Gods and humans. She is “the eldest, mother of the gods, who illuminated the first face.” It was said that Neith wove the world on her loom. Her emblems of a…

To make things even more complicated the sexuality of the Egyptian Goddesses was not always clear cut. A few have bodies exhibiting a combination of both male and female attributes, for example the Goddess Neith is always represented as a female Deity and yet was said to be two thirds male.

“The only vampire a vampire can trust is the vampire he made”

I love the parallels between Pam and Eric and their feelings towards their makers. For me Eric and Pam’s relationship is/was the most healthiest relationship, built on love and trust - I love how they can show their emotions to each other but keep them secret from pretty much everyone else - this is why they are my otp!

While there’s no doubt that they love each other, I think the ‘trust’ part has been a little over-stated. The illusion of trust certainly was there, but we discovered that Eric has not shared many things with Pam, especially the things that hold the most significance for him….Godric and his human family. So the breadth of his ‘trust’ is questionable and, in light of his amnesia and his love for Sookie and Pam’s reaction to it, his foundation has been cracked.

At face value, they seemed like the perfect relationship, but, alas, there is no such thing. I know people cry foul regarding the current standing of their relationship. They say that TB has ruined them and that Eric would never treat Pam that way, but relationships are about love and trust and struggle and growth. These things are interdependent; they need each other to create strength.

From what we’ve seen Eric and Pam have love, but now they’ll have their struggle, they’ll grow, and they’ll learn to trust. All of these take time and takes work, but I’m sure they will be stronger for it. I have no doubt that it’ll be uncomfortable and sad to watch the struggle, but the pay-off is going to be there in the end. :)

Countdown To True Blood

Everything happens for a reason.

And the Mother Goddess is smiling on my life; blessing me with a spiritual abundance that is unclear to me; but it’s not mine to understand, it’s hers to impart.

I am the far removed grand daughter of Khaos.

I bear the scars of Lilith,

and the knowledge of Eve,

the spindling web of the wrath of Neith,

and the abundance of the night, and bathe in the milky waters of the moon drenched sky…

and I am humbled. Brought to my knees by the relevance of the spiritual journey… and the Father, and the woven threads of the fates that are branched into so many different directions, that some days I cannot see up from down… yet there is that singularity. That commonality that is woven into the tapestry of life, where it is all … as above, so below.

This has been a rambling… yet entirely relevant.

I finally saw the Hunger Games tonight.

It was worth the wait….

I saw it with someone. A gentlemen.

We both liked it….

Points for him.

I cried my eyes out twice.

Oh the reaping. Oh, RUE! D=

My man friend was shocked that he loved it…

I was too. And impressed.

Now, I sleep.

  • (I work in a Coffee Shop. I was on break in the lobby when a couple walks in. Directly behind them is a cute little boy in Batman costume.)
  • Me: “Oh my God! It’s BATMAN!”
  • (The boy stops, strikes a pose and starts looking around menacingly. After a few seconds, he approaches the counter.)
  • Mother: “Jeff, would you like a chocolate milk?”
  • Boy: “I am not Jeff. I am The Batman.”
  • Mother: “The Batman, would you like a chocolate milk?”
  • Boy: “Yes. Yes, The Batman would.”
  • (The couple pays while the boy sits down with his chocolate milk. He keeps a stern look on his face as he sips the drink.)
  • Boy: *sips* “Gotham is safe.”
